Edda Community Arts and Library

eca logoFormerly Ainsdale Library, which was closed in 2014 by Sefton Council in a bid to cut costs, Edda Community Arts and Library is an important cultural and educational centre at the heart of the community in Ainsdale.

We very much value the importance of education and we want this to be a place for learning in every sense of the word. Carl Craven

Local businessman, Carl Craven, who also runs the Bridge Inn Community Farm in Formby, invested thousands of pounds in the project which opened its doors in 2015 with the help of volunteers. Activities at the centre have proved popular with local residents.
