We’re delighted to announce a new venue for our mindfulness classes and courses, at Southport Community Fire Station on Albert Road in Southport. See dates of our mindfulness classes and courses at Southport Community Fire Station.
This will, no doubt, come as welcome news to those who have been waiting patiently for an evening class in Southport, following on from the success of the daytime courses at the Living Well Centre.
Based on material drawn from traditional and contemporary sources, our hugely popular ‘foundations of mindfulness’ course includes a structured programme of meditations which will help you develop an understanding of mindfulness and experience the benefits of a regular practice.
Southport Community Fire Station
Southport Community Fire Station is a purpose-built, joint fire and ambulance station, and one of several community fire stations on Merseyside.
Rooms are available in the station for the community to use free-of-charge for relevant activities, with a focus on health and wellbeing. Opened in 2013, Southport Community Fire Station is used by a wide range of groups and organisations for a variety of activities.
Southport Community Fire Station is on Albert Road, Southport PR9 0LH – next to the roundabout at the junction of Lord Street, Albert Road and Manchester Road. Locate it and get directions on Google Maps. Get train times on Merseyrail (nearest station is Southport on the Southport – Hunts Cross Northern line). There’s limited space in the visitors car park but plenty more parking nearby.
