Foundations of Mindfulness
Our six-part Foundations of Mindfulness course is based on material drawn from traditional and contemporary sources. Usually run over a six-week period, for one hour a week, the course includes a structured programme designed to help you develop an understanding of mindfulness and experience the benefits.

How many people are there in a class? Usually about 12 to 15.
Will we be sitting on the floor? No, we sit on straight chairs.
Does it involve yoga? No, just a talk, questions and meditation.
What should I wear? Your usual clothes, anything comfortable.
Do I need to bring anything? Just your curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Do I need to book a place? Yes, you should book a place in advance.
How much is it? Varies depending on venue and income level.

Although based on Buddhist teachings, the course is entirely secular and is suitable for people of all faiths or none. This popular course runs at venues across Merseyside and places go quickly when they’re announced.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Based on the programme developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and built on by Mindflow Training Ltd, our eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course combines mindfulness meditation and body awareness to help reduce stress and anxiety and increase resilience and general wellbeing.
