Mindfulness in the workplace

There’s plenty of evidence to suggest that mindfulness can have a significant and transformative effect on individuals and organisations including a reduction in absenteeism caused by stress, anxiety and depression, better concentration, focus and recall, in addition to improved problem-solving skills, communications and relationships – making for a happier, healthier workforce.

Bespoke programmes

Mindfulness Merseyside deliver bespoke mindfulness programmes in the workplace, ranging from short 45 minute ‘taster’ sessions to longer workshops and complete courses.

There’s no yoga or anything like that and meditations are done seated on chairs not cross-legged on the floor. There’s plenty of opportunities for questions and answers throughout and participants are encouraged to share their experiences.

The programmes include materials to take away, summarising the session and outlining the meditations, for participants to practice afterwards. We can also offer advice on establishing workplace meditation groups to build on what was achieved during the session.
